PORT: LA/SF – Dance Tour

The Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company and FACT/SF are excited to announce the first PORT program (Peer Organized Regional Touring), a new touring exchange program co-produced by the two companies. PORT will feature a shared program of new works by both companies and tour to San Francisco’s ODC Theater and LA Theater Center in Los Angeles. Each visiting company will also teach a master class in the host company’s city.

For the L.A. programs, LACDC will be presenting the world premier of “NOMAD.LORE.” feature excerpts of Genevieve Carson’s latest creation “Stimulaze”. FACT/SF will be presenting the Los Angeles premier of “Remains” and excerpts from their critically-acclaimed, “Platform.”
