Kenneth is a sixteen year old native of Los Angeles. He enjoys playing sports, primarily soccer, basketball, and handball. He’s always had an interest in theater arts which is part of why he is thankful for Watts Village Theater Company for giving them this opportunity. He enjoys trying new things in life and hopes to be successful. He hopes to one day become a doctor.

Stephani Galvez, born May 31, 1996, grew up in South East Ca. Despite the indifference of her parents, she has always enjoyed performing in front of an audience. She previously starred in Romeo & Juliet, Best Friends, and Middle Class. In addition to dancing and acting, singing is also a critical part of her life having sung for the St. Emydius Church Choir, South Gate High’s Chorale, and performed “Breakaway” at her Middle School Graduation.

Being an outsider to California, TaMonicka thought she would never be able to relate to and understand the natives. Her involvement with UNLockeD helped her to do just that. She would like to say thank you from the support she received from MENTE , her teachers, Mr.Dumalog, who had gotten her interested in the production. Finally, special thanks to her cast and crew. Those people truly did this for the love of it.

Precious had always admired the arts from a young age. She felt like an outcast, sad, believing that she would never have a chance to be in a production because of the community she lived in. That is why she’s grateful to W.V.T.C. for inspiring the youth of her community to develop and try something new. She finds it especially exciting that their own words are beings used and hopes that their message is delivered.

Angel Ramoz was born in El Salvador on August 23, 1996. He studied at the private school, Colegio Centro America, prior to moving to Los Angeles and transferring into Locke 1 in January, 2010. Animo Watts Village Theater Company opened the doors for new opportunities for him, helping him to discover his capabilities and the benefits of teamwork. For him, this has been an amazing experience. His desire is to one day become a doctor.

Genaro, a.k.a. Jack, is a sixteen-year-old native of L.A. who’s dream is to become a performer. He likes to sing, dance, and act because he believes these abilities are ambassadors to his emotions. He loves the spirit generated from working in the field of entertainment and the vibe the audience exhales. He’s not afraid of self-expression and encourages others to be the same.

Ferdinand is a young, aspiring student who loves drama and theater. He is a person in good academic standing, with a high G.P.A. He is also a multitasker, working on various after school programs and extracurricular activities, including N.J.R.O.T.C. He is also the Youth Representative of the Watts Neighborhood Council, serving to make his community a better place.

A fifteen-year-old Sophomore at Animo Locke 1, Jazmine hopes to one day become a forensic psychologist. She enjoys spending time in nature and talking with friends and family whenever she can. Her favorite hobby is eating delicious food.

Carlos Joel Velador was born and raised in Compton, California. In the sixth grade, he starred in Romeo & Juliet as Friar Lawrence. His favorite school subjects are science and math and he one day wishes to become a physicist or aeronautical engineer, though these career choices are still pending. His favorite hobby involves surfing the net and learning something new every day. Favorite quote: “Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous.” –Albert Einstein.
